Our position on copyright

MakeToolz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. Our tools process publicly available links on demand and pass media directly to your browser. We do not host, store, cache, or upload any user or third-party media on our servers.

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been made accessible through our site in a way that infringes your rights, you may send a written notice to hello@maketoolz.com with the subject "DMCA Notice". Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)), your notice should include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  2. The exact URL or location on our site relating to the material.
  3. Your name, address, phone number, and email so we can contact you.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Because we do not host media, most valid requests are best directed to the platform that actually hosts the file (such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube). Where a notice concerns something on our own site, we will act promptly.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, and your consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat infringers

We will restrict or remove access for anyone who repeatedly misuses our tools to infringe copyright.
